The airport was built to replace the North Conway airport which closed in 1988 and was located where Settler's Green Outlet Village now stands.
Eastern Slopes Regional Airport (IATA: FRY, ICAO: KIZG, FAA LID: IZG), also known as Eastern Slopes State Airport, is a public airport located three miles (5 km) southeast of the central business district of Fryeburg, a town in Oxford County, Maine, United States.
It is owned by the Eastern Slopes Regional Airport Authority. The airport is accessible from ME-5 in Fryeburg and Brownfield, Maine. It is very close to Conway, New Hampshire.Although most U.S. airports use the same three-letter location identifier for the FAA and IATA, Eastern Slopes Regional Airport is assigned IZG by the FAA and FRY by the IATA.

We also have a designated Pilot Examiner on staff so your check ride will be scheduled as soon as your instructor signs you off.

The Fryeburg Airport has one runway that is 4,200’ by 75’ and can be seen at www.airnav.com with all the details. They sell 100LL fuel and jet fuel. Light maintenance is available by their experienced and well qualified mechanics. Call and they will arrange to shuttle you back to your home base while we service your plane.
Flying in for the day? They have many available tie-downs with the ropes and chocks accessible hanging on the terminal exterior wall. Need a pre-heat? Let them know and they’ll take care of that for you. Need a heated hangar for the night? Let them know and we’ll put you in our maintenance hangar.
The Fryeburg Airport is right on the New Hampshire border within a 15 minute drive to North Conway. The Mount Washington Valley offers so much to visitors in the area including hiking, rock climbing, skiing, camping and endless outlet shopping. Give us a call to arrange for a rental car for you and then fly in to enjoy the day, or stay in one of the wonderful hotels in the Valley.
