I
am committed to Fryeburg's renewed prosperity and a big part of that
renewal, as I stated above, is OUR airport - the potential is huge!
There is a massive amount of stored economic power just waiting to be
tapped with measured, responsible development. If any who read this
post agree, then join me, the Fryeburg Business Association and the
Mt. Washington Economic Council - let's do this!
It really isn't rocket science, it's only this, as Margret Mead once said:
“Never
underestimate the power of a small group of committed people to
change the world. In fact, it is the only thing that ever has.”
What
I do:
- I am the Fryeburg representative on the Mt. Washington Economic Council, as a member of that board of directors I sit on Theresa Kennett”s committee on regional collaboration. The economic council exists and it's primary mission is to recruit business to the region.
- My role on the Fryeburg Business Association is to recruit new members as I am on the Membership Committee. I am also the chair of the FBA's Economic Committee.
- I am a contract salesperson who also works in social media advertising.
When
we succeed, in a few short years, what will be the result? At the
very least stable taxes with money to upgrade schools and town
services. But I see lower taxes. It will take commitment and hard
work but the most important ingredient is positive energy and
PERSISTENCE!
- Make
the decision, join with me and others who love Fryeburg and this
Valley. We will both preserve our community's country charm and
character while attracting clean, green responsible community
partners who will help us build a new economic foundation that will
not only serve us well but will also ensure that our posterity will enjoy a stable and sustainable local economy, all the while preserving our town's stunning natural beauty and pristine environment.
Let's go....
