Fryeburg Business Association Vice President David Chaffee poses with MSAD # 72 Jay Robertson
FRYEBURG, Maine - At September's FBA monthly meeting the guest speaker was Jay Robinson, the newly hired superintendent of schools. Mr. Robinson presented the association with detail regarding the options available to replace Fryeburg's aging Snow School.
The Fryeburg Business Association's mission is to promote a positive business environment that contributes to the community and economic vitality of the Fryeburg area. That means that we want to not only recruit new businesses to Fryeburg in order to broad the tax base, thereby keeping residential property taxes in check but also we want to take the lead in bringing economic information to the citizens.
The next meeting of the FBA is on Tuesday November 12th at 6:00 p.m. We meet above the Fryeburg Fair Office.
I'm writing this brief news story as an appeal to all of you who want to see a 'better deal' for Fryeburg. Come to this meeting. Maybe you'll decide to support us by being a member or volunteering. We don't bite - come and see us!
