First of all I am a huge fan of Emerson and Napoleon Hill as well as other people who have and are practicing the power of positive thinking. Desire - Determination - Persistence: Achievement. When we practice these 'laws of success' we win - period. Do we want to do even better in both improving our lives and the lives of others? You bet. I am going to partner with the people at Neurocue - in effect enhance the positive power of our brains. Stay tuned...

The following is from the people at Neurocue:
Every January first, millions of people resolve to do something differently. Eventually, often gradually and even unconsciously, most people forgo their long term goals in favor of a short term temptation. We work our way back to our “normal”. The normal that got you where you were when you resolved you didn't want to be there.
In an effort to improve ourselves we've bought books, even read and enjoyed them, been inspired at seminars, accumulated information and engaged in new programs and behaviors. We have given our time and our money to what is now a multibillion dollar Self Improvement industry. And there is tremendous potential value to us from any of these resources. But for all the investment, our success is too often temporary. Our conditioned patterns are trumping our desired results.
When true effort and intent fail to meet with lasting success, it can leave you feeling frustrated or defeated. Maybe you tell yourself you'll never be able to change. Throughout most of the 20th century, many in the scientific community might agree with you. Up until the late 1990's, scientists believed that the brain developed in the early years and became essentially “fixed” in early childhood. However, there has been a bit of a paradigm shift. Science now recognizes that neuroplasticity is no longer a theory in brain science, it's a fact.
How Science Can Help...
Neuroplasticity, also referred to as brain plasticity or brain malleability, refers to the ability of the human brain to change throughout life as a result of experiences. The human brain is capable of both restructuring and reorganizing with training and practice. Take, for example, the way the human brain can sometimes repair itself after damage. The mechanisms to achieve repair include: collateral sprouting (picture a spider fixing its web), substitution of function (when the function of the damaged area is taken over by another area of the brain) and/or the creation of new neurons (neurogenesis). Similarly, your brain is capable of developing new neural pathways that can replace your existing pathways -thus trumping your conditioned patterns.
What That Really Means for You...
You are capable of virtually any kind of change... and it no longer requires you to have more of that mysterious thing called willpower. Based on the science of neuroplasticity, we now know we can eliminate or add behaviors based on the ability to leverage the brains power to shift, change, and become reformed. NeuroCue utilizes specific techniques, including spaced repetition, stimulus-response conditioning and feedback, that allow us to by-pass self-limiting thoughts and literally change our behaviors and thinking, thus changing our lives.
