The 35th president of the United States |
President Kennedy did not know that November 22, 1963 would be his last mortal day. Billy Graham has said that he had a strong feeling of doom when he heard that the young president was going to Dallas.
He sent a message to the president, simply saying, “Don’t go to Dallas!”
President Kennedy never received that message or it was ignored.
Just a few days before John Kennedy was inaugurated, the newly elected president invited Billy Graham to a game of golf.
On the way back to the Kennedy house, the president-elect stopped the car and turned to me.“Do you believe in the Second Coming of Jesus Christ?” he asked unexpectedly.“I most certainly do.”“Well, does my church believe it?”“They have it in their creeds.”“They don’t preach it,” he said. “They don’t tell us much about it. I’d like to know what you think” (Page 395).
Billy Graham shared in detail, the hope and promise of Jesus Christ that day with President-Elect Kennedy. He said Kennedy responded, “Very interesting. We’ll have to talk about that someday.”
There is a very important lesson in John Kennedy's 'Someday'... for we do not know how many 'somedays' we have.
Make the best of each day.

“Teach us to number our days that we may apply our hearts to wisdom.”
- King Solomon
He probably didn't get the message because our own government wanted him killed. Their the one's responsible for his death. He was one of the greatest presidents to ever live. I commend him for speaking out against secret societies. I believe he was a true president and not one that was just a puppet, or just for show, or just a celebrity. I hope he's in heaven resting peacefully.
