Giving Thanks Feast At The Community School.  The Community School, 1164 Bunker Hill Road in South Tamworth, will serve a feast of local food 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. All are welcome. Reservations are requested as soon as possible, so organizers can purchase and prepare enough to fill all bellies. As with all the Farmers' Table meals, this Giving Thanks Feast is prepared with the tastiest, freshest foods local growers and farmers produce. Knit And Crochet Group. The Effingham Public Library’s Knit and Crochet Group meets at 2 p.m. Bring along your own project, work on hats and mittens for our holiday Mitten Tree, or just stop by to enjoy some lively conversation and good company. Ossipee Recreation Department Office Closed. The Ossipee Recreation Department office will be closed from Wednesday, Nov. 27, through the Thanksgiving Holiday weekend. The office will re-open on Monday, Dec. 2 at 9 a.m. The department wishes one-and-all a Happy Thanksgiving.

North Conway Library Closing Early For Thanksgiving.The North Conway Library will be open from 12 to 3 p.m. The library will be closed on Thursday, Nov. 28 and Friday, Nov. 29 for Thanksgiving. Regular hours will resume on Monday, Dec 2 from 12-5 p.m. Regular hours for the library are: Monday and Tuesday noon to 5 p.m., Wednesday and Thursday noon to 6 p.m., Friday noon to 5 p.m. Call the library at 356-2961 or visit www.NorthConwayLibrary.com for more information.
