Christmas $1 A Bag Sale. The Thrift Shop of the Lovell United Church of Christ on Route 5 in Center Lovell, Maine holds a Christmas $1 a bag sale Dec. 16 through 23. Shop hours are Mondays, Wednesdays, Saturdays from 10 a.m. to noon. The shop will be closed on Christmas Day and New Year's Day.
Visit With Mrs. Claus. Mrs. Claus will be visiting the Ossipee Public Library to read stories to children on Monday, Dec. 16 at 7:00 pm. Please sign up at the library or by phone (603) 539-6390. Wear your pajamas and bring a favorite stuffed animal and settle in for some holiday stories. (This event is limited to 50 people).

Meet And Greet With Executive Council Candidate Michael Cryans. The Carroll County Democratic Committee will host an public Meet and Greet with Democratic District One Executive Council Candidate Michael Cryans on Monday at 6:30 p.m. at the Met Coffee House, 2680 White Mountain Highway, North Conway. Michael Cryans has been a Grafton County Commissioner for 18 years, and will be speaking about his candidacy for executive council.
Information Session On Workshops for Veterans To Eliminate Post Traumatic Stress. Liesbeth Gronski with her ministry of Source Transformation has developed the workshop "Take Back Your Life!" for Veterans with Post Traumatic Stress.
