Free Pasta Meal. A free pasta meal complete with salads, breads, beverages, desserts and Christmas cookies will be held at 11:30 a.m. at Nativity Lutheran Church, Main and Grove Streets, in North Conway. 'Kringle's Window.' Theater-goers lacking the Christmas spirit have the opportunity to become a little more "in the mood" by attending M&D's Productions' final show of the 2013 season, "Kringle's Window" at 4 p.m. at Your Theatre, located at 1857 White Mountain Highway in North Conway. "Kringle's Window" begins as Little Boomer Waller's sister and her friends convince her there is no Santa Claus. 'It's a Wonderful Life: A Live Radio Play.' Arts in Motion Theater Company, at the Eastern Slope Inn Playhouse on Main Street in North Conway Village looks forward to sharing the holiday season with the community as they bring a favorite Christmas story to the stage with "It's a Wonderful Life: A Live Radio Play" by Joe Landry at 7 p.m. Inspired by the classic American film by Frank Capra, the show is performed as a 1940s live radio broadcast in front of a studio audience. "It's a Wonderful Life: A Live Radio Play" is directed by Barbara Spofford and features the talents of local actors Julianne Brosnan, Jason Cicero, Teresa Dyer, Tom Ferent, David Freedman, Terry Juell French, Dennis Sullivan and Abigail Leonard. Artisan Craft Fair at the Snowvillage Inn. The Snowvillage Inn presents a Local Artisan Craft Fair (formerly the East Conway Grange Holiday Artisan Show) will be held from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.. This cozy Holiday show offers wonderful handmade gifts for everyone's Christmas list as well as a delicious homemade lunch including Julia Hendrickson's Famous Hungarian Mushroom Soup. Lovell Historical Society Christmas Open House. The Lovell Historical Society will be holding a Christmas Open House at the 1838 Kimball-Stanford House from 1 to 4 p.m. The Kimball-Stanford House will be decorated for the holidays and the museum exhibit will be open, featuring our permanent display. An assortment of holiday “goodies” will be offered in the Bakeshop along with free refreshments for all. Additionally, children will have the opportunity to decorate gingerbread men and several local businesses will be exhibiting their wares. The Fiber Arts Museum will be open and joining the spinners and weavers will be Sadie Fowler demonstrating the use of a bracelet loom. Also available is the opportunity to win one of three raffle prizes; the drawing will be held at 3 p.m. on Sunday and tickets may be purchased either at the Historical Society or the Lovell Village Store. South Eaton Meetinghouse Christmas Tree Lighting Canceled. In anticipation of the approaching storm, The South Eaton Meetinghouse is canceling their Christmas Tree Lighting ceremony.
Community Christmas Tree And Holiday Party. The annual Sandwich Community Christmas Tree Party will be held in the upstairs of the Sandwich Town Hall at 3:30 p.m. This party is sponsored by the Sandwich Woman's Club with the assistance of several other organizations in town. Each child in Sandwich from birth through grade 3 will receive a small gift from Santa. This includes the families who have children at the Sandwich Central School but who do not live in Sandwich.
