The Allure of Tuckerman: A Snow Ranger's Perspective.USFS Snow Ranger Jeff Lane will speak at 8 p.m. at the Appalachian Mountain Club Pinkham Notch Visitor Center. He first visited Tuckerman Ravine in 2001, shortly after he was working there as and AMC caretaker, and not long after that was hired by the US Forest Service as a Snow Ranger. In this presentation, he will talk about Mount Washington and Tuckerman, and why so many people are drawn to these locations in all seasons. The program is free and open to the public. Service of Lessons And Carols. At 10 a.m. there will be the traditional Church of England service of Lessons and Carols at St. Margaret’s Anglican Church in Conway. The church is located at 85 Pleasant St, (Route 153) around the corner from the Conway Public Library. St. Margaret of Scotland worships on Sundays at 10 a.m.and every Thursday at noon in the Chapel. The parish holds regular Bible studies and other parish activities during the year. Father Jeffrey Monroe is the Rector. Call 447-2404 for information.
