Fryeburg Historical Society Open. The Col. Samuel Osgood House, the new home of the Fryeburg Historical Society, is open for guided tours, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., Tuesdays and Saturdays through Christmas. Groups are asked to call ahead for an appointment at 697-3484.
White Mountain Writers Group Meeting. The White Mountain Writers Group holds the monthly meeting at 4:30 p.m. Organizing the Local Author Book Fair on Dec.14 is a priority. Bach Flower Remedies Event. There will be a presentation on Bach Flower Remedies, a self-help system using gentle flower essences to balance emotions and negative states of mind in humans and animals, 6-7 p.m. at the Club at Christmas Mountain in Bartlett. Fryeburg Historical Society Christmas Party. The Fryeburg Historical Society will hold its annual Christmas party at their new home, the Col. Samuel Osgood House, 83 Portland Street, Fryeburg, Maine beginning at 5 p.m. Those attending are asked to bring a main dish, salad or dessert to share for the potluck dinner and a small wrapped gift for a Yankee Swap after the dinner.
