Free Talk For Parents: Helpful Information For Parents Of A Child Less Than A Year Of Age. Dr. Ross Emery and Dr. Rich Laracy, both pediatricians at Saco River Medical Group, will be presenting a free talk for parents of newborns and young children. The discussion will be held at Saco River Medical Group in Conway, 6:30-7:30 p.m.. The talk will center on what to expect in the first year of your child’s life. They will discuss everything from feeding schedules, development, immunizations, safety and much more. They welcome any questions throughout the talk. North Country Camera Club. The North Country Camera Club meets on the second & fourth Thursdays of each month from September through June in the Lecture Hall at the Kennett Middle School in Conway (use back door — plenty of parking — follow the NCCC signs.) G.A.L.A. Workshop On Wreath Creation. G.A.L.A. and partner, Jack Mountain Bushcraft School, offers a workshop on wreath making at 5:30 p.m. Jessica Cole, of Sumner Brook Herbals and Sumner Brook Fish Farm will lead participants in how to create a wreath using locally sourced pine, spruce, and fir bows. Workshops are open to the public, and take place at the Kingswood Youth Center on Route 28 in Wolfeboro. The participant fee for this workshop is $15.
