The Mount Washington Valley Housing Coalition Benefit. There will be a fund-raising event for The Mount Washington Valley Housing Coalition at Joseph's Spaghetti Shed in Glen. There will be raffle tickets and a portion of the money from each purchase sold will be donated to the organization. Auction items will include a sport club membership at the Eastern Slope Inn Resort, entrance for four to the Kahuna Laguna Water Park at the Red Jacket Mountain View Resort, a $50 gift certificate to the Flatbread Company, and a two-night stay for four at the Eastern Slope Inn or Attitash Mountain Village, a Starbucks gift bag, and a $15 gift card for the Toy Chest. There will also be a 50/50 raffle with half of the money collected from this raffle going to the winner. The Mount Washington Valley Housing Coalition is a local non-profit organization, which believes that affordable housing has a direct impact on the economic strength of the Mount Washington Valley, affecting both those who need it as well as broadly effecting business expansion. Mass Of The Epiphany. There will be a Mass of the Epiphany at 10 a.m. in the chapel at St. Margaret’s Anglican Church in Conway. The church is located at 85 Pleasant St, (Route 153) around the corner from the Conway Public Library. St. Margaret of Scotland worships on Sundays at 10 a.m.and every Thursday at noon in the Chapel. The 19th Annual Ice Carvers Invitational. The Wentworth in Jackson will hold an ice carving competition, 10 a.m.-1 p.m. Twelve ice carving competitors will have three hours to transform a three hundred pound block of ice using the tools of their choice. The competition will be followed by a lunch and an awards ceremony.
One-on-One Tech Help. The Conway Public Library offers one-on-one help with all electronic devices like eReaders, laptops, smart phones and tablets from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Get free and friendly help from folks who won’t give you a lot of techno-babble and attitude. Mountain View Knitters. Mountain View Knitters meet at 9:45 a.m. at St. Elizabeth Seton Church on Route 5, Fryeburg, Maine. Prepare a brown bag of yarn scraps for a crazy hat-to-be swap.
