Downton Abbey Party. The Effingham Public Library is hosting a Downton Abbey Party every Sunday evening in January and February (eight weeks) at 8 p.m. All are welcome to join the party for tea and light refreshments, before viewing the latest episode of the popular series on our 70-inch TV screen. Epiphany Eve Service. There will be a service of Epiphany Eve at 10 a.m. at St. Margaret’s Anglican Church in Conway. The church is located at 85 Pleasant St, (Route 153) around the corner from the Conway Public Library. St. Margaret of Scotland worships on Sundays at 10 a.m.and every Thursday at noon in the Chapel. The parish holds regular Bible studies and other parish activities during the year. Father Jeffrey Monroe is the Rector. Call 447-2404 for information.
Ski With A Naturalist. Ski with a naturalist at Great Glen Trails Outdoor Center, 10:30 a.m.-noon, every Sunday (except Jan. 12 and March 9). The toiurs are free with the purchase a trail pass for the day.
