Valley Promotions Fundraiser. Each Thursday evening from 4 to 11 p.m., the Shannon Door Pub and Restaurant donates $1 from ever pizza sold (eat-in or take-out) to a local non-profit organization. Tonight eat pizza and help Mount Washington Valley Promotions. Ever-increasing raffle and lobster bake raffle tickets will be available. Entertainment from 7 to 11 p.m.
FRIDAY, JANUARY 3
Mother/Daughter Book Group. Jackson Public Library's new mother/daughter book group will have its first meeting today, 5-6 p.m. This group is open to all girls in grades 6-8 and their mothers or caregivers. The first book is "Stargirl" by Jerry Spinelli. Stop in at the library to pick up a copy in advance.
