Genealogy Interest Group. The Wolfeboro Library and the Lakes Region Genealogy Interest Group will present a series of workshops featuring methods of jump starting genealogical research for both the beginner and more advanced genealogist. Fryeburg Historical Society Annual Meeting. The annual meeting of Fryeburg Historical Society will be held at 6 p.m. at Sally Whitaker's house at 18 Portland Street.
Information Session On Workshops for Veterans To Eliminate Post Traumatic Stress. Liesbeth Gronski with her ministry of Source Transformation has developed the workshop "Take Back Your Life!" for Veterans with Post Traumatic Stress. There will be aree informational event, 7-9 p.m. at Wolfeboro Inn, 90 North Main Street, in Wolfeboro. White Mountain Writers Group Meeting. The Conway Public Library hosts the monthly meeting of the White Mountain Writers Group from 4:30 to 6 p.m. All genres and ages are welcome. Nordic Meisters. Great Glen Trails hosts the Nordic Meisters racing series, 9 a.m.-3:45 p.m., Tuesdays, Jan. 7-March 4. Ski racing for both recreational and competitive skiers! Tuesdays for eight weeks (except Feb. 18) Be on the start line anytime between 9am and 3:45pm and skate and/or classic the long 5 km or short 2.7 km course.
250th Town of Conway Celebrations Committee Meeting.The 250th Town of Conway Celebrations Committee meets at 6 p.m. at the Salyards Center for the Arts on Main Street in Conway. The group is working to provide events and activities that pay homage to the Town of Conway's history. Projects that are in the works include a "Firemen's Muster" to take place during the 2015 4th of July weekend, children's activities that bring Conway's legacy to life, theatrical presentations, an art show to be presented at the Conway Public Library and more.
