From the Editor:

''What Do You Think?'' Yes, what do you think about the state of affairs in the world today?

As the marketing director for Lark's Haven Publishing Company, and the editor of Free Press Maine, as well as several other social media pages I have the opportunity to reach thousands of people, and opine on the state of nation and the world every single day.

Today, and going forward I will ask, ''What Do You Think?'' In fact you will see posts labeled ''What Do You Think?'' on the news stories that are important to all of us. News stories about President Trump, other political news, scientific information, news stories about the human condition, and especially the health of our planet.

Your opinion is what matters, and it needs to be shared with others. On this Free Press outlet, we will share those opinions -- all of them. There is much opinion about Donald J. Trump, but the world, contrary to popular opinion (and his) does not revolve around him. It is about us -- ALL of US. From the child who was just born this morning in Calcutta, India, to the elderly person who just sat for a cup of tea this afternoon in London, England. We are the ones who matter, all of us EQUALLY share this world. And each of us has an opinion, and a voice. I will go so far as to say a vote, a say in how our planet is managed.

You can respond to posts directly below them in the space provided, you can email me: mike.corthell@outlook.com or call and leave a message: +1 207-256-4418. Your opinions will  be published.

I have written exactly what I believe here: www.LivingWiseDaybyDay.com so no one has to wonder what Mike Corthell thinks (not that I won't write editorial opinions, I will continue to do that).

YOUR opinion and what YOU THINK is critically important. The world is changing rapidly, and you need to be part of that change. It is your right, and more importantly your duty to be involved -- to speak up and speak out.
