Kids Ski Fest. Great Glen Trails Outdoor Center is hosting a day of winter fun for kids and families. Kid's Ski Fest is open to kids, pre-school through 8th grade. No preregistration is necessary and all activities and rentals for kids are free. Trail passes for all participating kids and adults are $5. Rentals for participating parents are $10. Downton Abbey Party. The Effingham Public Library will host a "Downton Abbey" Party every Sunday at 8 p.m. in January and February. Tea and light refreshments will be served prior to viewing the popular British series on a 70-inch screen at the library, located at 30 Town House Road off Route 153. This program is free. Mount Washington Auto Road History Presentation. Howie Wemyss will give a presentation on the history of the Mount Washington Auto Road and the Glen House Hotels at 2 p.m. at the Union Congregational Church on Albany Avenue and Bear Notch Road, Bartlett. Two Hour Instructional Nature Tour on Snowshoes with Expert Guide. Jackson Ski Touring Foundation guides will show you places along the trails and off the system that most people would never get to find. This is a fun and interesting tour led by snowshoeing experts who will also give technique tips along the way. Pre-registration suggested. Tour price $10. Da Capo in Concert. The singing group Da Capo will present "Season of Love," a concert of songs to warm your heart at 4 p.m. at the The Madison Church. Donations of $20 per family or $10 per person are suggested. Call (603) 662-6415 for more information.

Oxford County Democrats Caucus Training. The Oxford County Democrats will hold a training for caucus convenors as part of their regular meeting which starts at 2 p.m. at the Crescent Park School in Bethel. Jon Hillier, field director for the Maine Democratic Party, will conduct the convenor training at 3 p.m. The Maine Democratic Party Caucus Day is Sunday, March 2. Refreshments will be served.
