Mockery: The Spiritual Abomination of Name Calling

By Michael Corthell

Mr. Trump is a documented mocker and a 'name caller'. There is no denying that. Lightweight, loser, moron, dummy, overrated, stupid, thug: these are the insults Trump has repeatedly hurled at his rivals. Trump has certainly elevated the indecency of mocking to a level not witnessed in decades -- maybe ever in American politics.

Today's tweets from President Donald Trump:

  1. Apr 13, 2018 07:17:37 AM - ....untruthful slime ball who was, as time has proven, a terrible Director of the FBI. His handling of the Crooked Hillary Clinton case, and the events surrounding it, will go down as one of the worst “botch jobs” of history. It was my great honor to fire James Comey!
  2. Apr 13, 2018 07:01:47 AM - James Comey is a proven LEAKER & LIAR. Virtually everyone in Washington thought he should be fired for the terrible job he did-until he was, in fact, fired. He leaked CLASSIFIED information, for which he should be prosecuted. He lied to Congress under OATH. He is a weak and.....

Earlier in 2018:

Donald Trump tweeted this morning, ''Little Adam Schiff, who is desperate to run for higher office, is one of the biggest liars and leakers in Washington, right up there with Comey, Warner, Brennan and Clapper! Adam leaves closed committee hearings to illegally leak confidential information. Must be stopped!''

The statement above is but one example of a host of name calling propaganda statements the president has made during the course of his public life. Why do he do it? To please his father.

The maturity level of adults who name call is at best at the level of an adolescent.

Calling someone an "asshole'' is unacceptable. Calling someone a ''bitch'' is unacceptable. Calling someone an ''liberal crybaby” is unacceptable. Calling someone a ''retard'' is unacceptable. Calling someone a ''slut'' is unacceptable. It is especially unacceptable to call people by religious, sexual and/or ethnic slurs. If people want to be a part of civilized society, under no circumstances should they use these words or their variants to describe other people. And it should never be tolerated.

Any good person knows this. If you don't now this, you are morally bankrupt.

By calling someone a derogatory name of any kind, you attempting to wrap your opponent in a negative label, to devalue them as a human being. In reality you are allowing yourself to being labeled. (at a 12 to 14 year old maturity level) Doing this you lose both the moral high ground and of course the argument itself.

Below in this video he is making fun of a disabled reporter. He was campaigning for president at the time he 'performed' this deplorable and despicable act.
